Their songs were catchy af and they only made 2 or 3 songs that were bland or off-beat. Plus, Zach's genuine anger resonated with people in the early 90s, the same way MC Ride resonates with some people today. In fact, there's a lot of similarities between DG and RATM (experimentation with different sounds/effects, angry lyrics that feels vaguely personal despite of the subject matter, hard vocal performance..etc)
