also on the topic of oasis, definitely maybe is basically like a shoegaze/rock n' roll crossover album and is actually pretty great, obviously they became so phenomenally popular and unavoidable and put out an awful lot of shit post-96, liams voice is a bit of a love-it-or-hate-it too. still, nowhere near as bad as the fucking hipster cunts here and reddit would have you believe. live forever is a genuinely genius song.
