I like El-P, but Killer Mike is fucking terrible

They're okay. Even though I generally agree with their political stances, it can get kind of cringey at times and it ruins some of it for me.

I'm a huge stan. I admit I'm way too fucking hyped for RTJ3. I've had several dreams of that shit dropping.

This. Killer Mike is better alone too to be honest. Lyrically, they're both so much stronger on solo projects, mainly because RTJ lyricism is so heavily focused on meaningless posturing and political bullshit ( >>69779444.) Overall, I find RTJ to be a solid but hugely overrated concept. I don't find the majority of their music to be enjoyable to listen to, and I'm not as astonished with the technical ability of Mike and El as the critics seem to be. I don't think that they play off of each other as well as people act like they do, and I wish that they would focus more on solo work.
