Interesting, while I really like the original version, I prefer the acoustic one. Original obviously delivers more energy in the chorus, but how the singer doesn't even raise his voice a bit for the acoustic version makes it a very eerie piece, which I like. Original has the better drums though.

I enjoyed the first 3/4. There was something nice about the alternation between the verses and the chorus, always returning to the "sexy" "Wait and see" feel. I'm not sure what point that changed but it started to feel like filler, and I got tired of the chorus well before the sing-a-long at the end happened.

Really saturated production is a pet peeve of mine, but I kinda have to expect that from pop country. Lyrics paint an interesting story, I quite enjoyed the chorus as well. Wasn't a fan of how they cut the music video, taking it away from the song, coming back briefly then doing it again. Not something I'd listen to in my own time, but it's not terrible.

I don't listen to hip hop and such very much, but i wouldn't say this is one of the better examples of it i've heard. That guy has an incredibly annoying voice and delivery and the chorus with the girl singing is really cheesy.
The instrumental is kind of annoying in the verses and then becomes really cheesy in a hollywood movie score kind of way when it moves into the chorus with those kicks.
