So what is this /mu/?
I mean I like it, but what is it?
Also what's your favorite Residents album?
Its a middle school jazz band tuning their instruments.

that shit isn't even experimental

It's considered krautrock, I would say it's a bit more prog oriented at the beginning, and then a bit freak-folky. I like its marcial quality
Probably Not Available, I haven't heard that much.

Ah I see, I've heard of the genre I just wouldn't be able to place a Krautrock band
And cool that's actually the first album I check out by them and I loved it. I'm listening to Meet The Residents now

I highly suggest pic related, Faust IV. It's the experimentalism of the first one but much more concise and deliberate with pop tendencies. One of my favorites ever
i highly recommend getting into krautrock as well. NEU! - Self titled and Can's Tago Mago will get you started

>Also what's your favorite Residents album?
Not Available. It's a shame it's not really easy to listen to it multiple times.
>>69760862
it's hard to throw a blanket term around it because any section of that album sounds nothing like any other
call it "lack of thematic unity" or something but it stands out among albums where you can tell exactly what you're in for by only listening to 2, 3 minutes of it, so that's cool
