Good attention to detail on the star's facial expressions. In the first panel, he's smiling, but only slightly - it shows that's he's happy with what he has, but could stand to have a little more.
Then, when he sees his friend the moon doing the right thing and helping the creature cross islands, the star's smile grows much wider. He sees that there's still good in the world and that's something that can put on a smile on everybody's face. :-)
