How do you guys feel about Childish Gambino's newest album "Awaken, My Love!"?
I think it's very different, I liked a couple of the songs the first time I heard it. Does anyone know if he played the instruments himself? I wish he would of had more vocals in the album as well, I really love his cleverness.

I feel about the same as Fantano. He should have just sang throughout the whole thing instead of doing that annoying shit on Zombies and California (that come to mind). It's the only Gambino album I've liked

Good album. I'm surprised Gambino stopped the self-concerned dredge and pursued P-Funk of all things. Huge improvement over his mediocre past work. I dig it a lot.

Liked it more than gambino's other stuff. It's not amazing or anything but it's pretty enjoyable if you skip california.

Really love it. It's the first Gambino project I can't really "relate" to, but musically I'm enjoying it a lot. Probably just a hair under BTI for me.
