Why exactly is he considered one of the best?
>>69722355
Because he's good
>>69722355
He's a great singer, has really nice vocal flow, and great at blending genres together (see: The Love Below).
>>69722384
alright alright alright
Outkast came along right in the middle of the Wu-tang/Biggie vs Dre/Tupac conflict, when most people were using samples and pianos, they made a unique sound with synthesizers and southern lingo. They were not afraid to be different, just look at the beat for SpottieottieDopaLiscious. When Big Boi has a good verse it sounds like a very talented solid rapper, but when Andre raps, it sounds like nothing else in Rap at the time.

one hit wonder

Find me another verse from the 90s that sounds like that. He's rhyming against the beat.

Never post again

>He's rhyming against the beat
Elaborate
>>69722439

>>69724082
Use your brain.Tap to the beat and notice where the rhyme scheme matches

Not him but there's a video detailing exactly what's happening with Andre's verse in Aquameni.

It starts at 5:12
Watch the whole video if you love to see a deconstruction of rhyming and flow technique.

Cheers, for posting. Will probably have to do further research to fully understand what she's saying, though.

This is really cool, actually. Do you have any other videos like it?
Or more examples of "unpredictable rappers" like what was being discussed at around 11 minutes?
