I would say that Prowler in the Yard is my favorite grind/metal album..

Napalm Death obviously has some great stuff but I don't jive with their work after 1990.

Insect Warfare has that one album that sticks to the typical grind formula but is just amazing riff after riff.

Discordance Axis are probably tied with PD for my favorite metal band. Jouhou is just as good as The Inalienable Dreamless, both have the deadliest riffs ever made.

These are pretty well known essentials, I haven't explored any new grindcore bands in years, honestly. Pic related are other metal albums I enjoy for the same reasons I like grind.
