Strangely enough, I find The Unnatural World much more depressing. Deathconciousness had themes that might have been dark and revolved around death, but they would end with a hopeful and indifferent feeling towards life. Meanwhile, every song on TUW was soulcrushing and bleak (except for maybe Unholy Life, which was an unnecessary song). The opening of the album is heavy, Burial Society is the most depressing song I've ever heard, and Emptiness Will Eat the Witch just leaves you empty.

One time, I took this girl out and the date was so bad that I asked if it was a date. She said no, and she said that she was not ready to date lol. So cringe ensues and I decided to end the night. I drop her off and I start playing this album on my way home. Crying to this album is one of the worst and greatest feelings you can have.
