Me more liberal with your sampling, this herky jerky one-beat-at-a-time thing you got going is rubbing me the wrong way. Nothing really comes in triplets or any sort of polyrhythm, it sounds very square overall. In terms of production this is superb, none of the drum samples feel out of place at all with the lo-fi clips.

I find this to be quite typical and really uninteresting. I would work, first of all, at the structure of the piece and immediately after that on the sound quality. Your "piano" sounds horribly cheap which is off-putting. Play around with some reverb and delay to give it a more "natural" sound.

I made two covers for two albums I have finished but the covers are better than the music. I feel like someone would be drawn to the cover but music will not be able to deliver. Should I scrap the album and build a new album based off of the cover? I know it's a stupid question but it's a legit concern I have.

the first time i heard The Dance of the Moon and the Sun about a year ago i was like 'this is exactly what i want to make' and i attempted to recreate that for a while and thats why i've covered rain serenade twice already and the reason i attempted post-rock. also Soundtracks. the swans one, not can.

the first time i heard Lambent Material i was like 'this is the album i've always wanted to make' and basically my first album is just a big ripoff of that, notice able in the closer and tracks 1 and 4.
