Listen to that immediately, first off.
Fat Albert Rotunda is an amazing funk album.
Secrets is a pretty nice album, smooth and has a lot of interesting percussion.
Sunlight has amazing production and an AMAZING closing track, but the vocoder can be grating.
Directstep has a lot of great reworkings of earlier done tracks.
If you're up for some more disco/electro stuff, try out 'Feets Don't Fail Me Now', 'Future Shock' and 'Sound System'
Gershwin's World is a great later career album from him.
And here are a few pretty good songs from otherwise not that good albums:

The only one to flat out avoid is 'Lite Me Up'.

The Graceful Fallen Mango by Dave Longstreth.
Lo-Fi Art Pop, I guess
Pre-Dirty Projectors, but is comparable to The Glad Fact. I enjoy 'Mango' more than anything until Bitte Orca, though!
