I remember seeing a tweet from a manager at Domino who said, "New Jai Paul... Woah." Jai is definitely prepping new material. You can just tell. They just asked for a design intern, after all. If I could speculate, I'd say he was bummed out when that "album" of demos was leaked and decided to work really hard and more privately on something he cared about. Landcruisin' is such a good song. I knew Anup was a good musician but I wasn't sure if he could lead a song on his own. They're both pushing 30 now. I wonder what they're expecting to do with music from here.
