It's not lacking, I never said that. They are solid studio musicians, my issue with them is creativity and substance. Every time I listen to Steely Dan I feel like I'm listening to an audiophile audio demo.

Received this album on vinyl from my teacher in middle school. When I got home I just laid on my bed, closed my eyes, and listened to this. Has been one of my favorites ever since.
