Wow, that's actually a really accurate description (One Man Can Change The World made me tear up when it first came out). I remember when people thought he was corny, and some probably still do, but I have always enjoyed him. He's definitely underrated in terms of wordplay and bars. I'm really not sure what to expect for his upcoming album though, but I have high hopes.
