all good ones

Yeah leave this board now. You have no business talking about music if you're under 25.

Literally all music desu
STEMfag here. I love Spiderland.
Not all STEM guys are emotionless drones.
What about accountants?
>>69687627
everything except for nu metal
>>69687645
ok gramps
I'm interested in STEM subjects as well as a lot of art and spiderland is one of my favorites
>he's a STEM student
>he only listens exclusively to IDM and post-punk or mathcore
*cringe*

Anything other than Bruno Mars and Maroon 5
STEM meaning what I think it means?
cause there are a LOT of engineer musicians who are very talented.
>tfw you picked the wrong major and are butthurt about it the thread

youth culture is most important to popular music

this
As a STEM guy with STEM friends who all like Spiderland, I've met more STEM people who like Spiderland than non-STEM
Cry more faget
the /pol/ anti-stem meme is one of the funniest things in the fucking world to me. Ohhh we didn't go to college and weren't educated. I HATE science
>>69687627
I'm stem student and that album is in my top 30.
Any math rock
>>69688727
I thought most people on /pol/ are STEM autists
>>69688727
>that on guy that brings /pol/ up any chance he can get
Don't be that guy
>>69688807
People on /pol/ are either stem autists or anti-college.
>>69688807
Yeah by my understanding most are brutally materialistic "feels =/= reals" anti-humanities anti-arts spergs.
>>69688727
The anti-STEM meme is more a thing of /lit/ and /his/.
>>69688797
but math rock is my favorite genre of music
>>69687910
Accountants can understand any album except Bruno Mars?
>>69687627
???
I study STEM (Comp sci & math) and Spiderland was one of those albums that just clicked with me instantly.
>>69687627
Aren't you using a computer right now? Isn't that technology? And science? And also some math involved probably as well? And oh yeah engineering?
Tell you what, I'll take your computer, but you can keep your smug sense of superiority. You just won't have a computer anymore, ok?
>>69689264
after having read this, i understand the sentiment about STEMlers
>>69687627
> sure I graduated in feminist interpretative dance
> but at least I understand Slint and I'm not a FUCKING WHITE MALE STEM grad
>>69689671
people like you are the reason why critics of feminism look autistic
>>69689720
don't you have a gender studies final to be studying for?
>>69687645
A sizeable chunk of /mu/core was written by people under 25
>>69687645
>being over 25
>still browsing 4chan
wew
I'm a stemfag and my favorite album is flood by boris
what does this mean
while this album does employ spoken word, it's also heavily dissonant, something that terrifies normies (since you can't dance to it) and is almost exclusively appreciated by people with literal autism. and which academic field do autists gravitate towards? it's certainly not liberal arts.
i would bet you that the Spiderland fanbase is 60+% STEM majors.
>graduating this Sunday with a BS in Microbiology
>already have a great job lined up working for the university
>expected to feel emotional
>feel nothing
Music for this non-feel?
>>69690090
Slint - Spiderland
>>69690099
That's a great suggestion actually thanks anon the answer was right in front of me
>>69690076
This post is what happens when you spend too much time on 4chan
>>69687627
Spiderland was made for socially autistic compsci majors though.
the genre is lITERALLY CALLED MATH ROCK
I A=HAVE BEEN BAITED
>>69690111
>he doesn't analyse all artistic and social phenomena through the lense of the eternal battle between autists and normies

hi. i do physics. spiderland is in my top 5 albums. that is all.
>>69687627
>implying STEM introvert autists won't understand this
I'm majoring in engineering and I'm a Chad, I don't really get this album.
>>69690242
>I'm majoring in engineering and I'm a Chad
You could've just said "I'm majoring in engineering" and the meaning would be intact.
