This is way better than sunbather.

Objectively incorrect btw

I completely agree

It truly is because it is more metal so the shitty metal drums aren't ruining every song
baby blue>any song
Luna is the best song they've ever made. But Sunbather is a better album overall.
"No."
>>69675091
this so hard
>these are the people insulting your taste and calling you a pleb
>>69675334
Correct
Yeah, and if the cover was purple it would have gotten the proper amount of hype.
I do think New Bermuda is slightly derivative though. There are a couple riffs in there I swear I've heard somethibg very close to before.
I can never finish this album. It's so generic and corny. Sunbather is just better.
>>69675091
basically sunbather 2.0, but damn good nonetheless
>>69675091
yeah, my thoughts exactly
>>69675125
nope

I like all their albums but this is the best for sure. SUN BAT HER is good but has muddy ass production ("muh raw mix tho") and honestly the song-writing here is a step up.
I always felt New Bermuda was a different beast. I love Sunbather for its generally more uplifting and positive pink sphere of tumultuous-almost-bliss. New Bermuda on the other hand feels more painful, more cognisant of tangible personal and external threats, and the ultimate conscious defeat that ensues. This state of being is displayed in the album artwork; the final stand against crushing, killing defeat of the hopeful, happy effigy.
Punk Rock Cody is one of my favourites. Violent is Amazing. The Pecan Tree has the greatest closer, "I am my father's son", means a lot to me. From the Kettle Onto the Coil is my favourite track from Deafheaven, "I am what I have always been, Gleeming and empty".

Daniel is a great dummer, what are you getting on about?

That burns, but bliss has lead me to greater happiness than snobbishness has. I feel like I might be foregoing knowledge for entertainment, but I don't, and obviously cannot, see how this album is pleb tier and that people are actively promoting it under the guise of misdirection as a troll post concerning a fairly forgotten album that was released over a year ago.

You don't get Sunbather.
