I'd say the guitars on this album are really great and unique. Such a huge and psychedelic sound. Really sets them apart from the other stuff labeled as britpop. The vocals and lyrics are mostly awful tho

The Oasis meme would be funnier if
a) their unique brand of awfulness would actually be entertaining instead of mind-numbingly boring cock-rock
b) someone would actually put effort in this shit and make up some sophisticated Scaruffi reviews instead of "it sounds le catchy oi mate xD"

And the worst of it all is that newfags actually think /mu/ genuinely enjoys the first two Oasis records.

/mu/ used to neutral about oasis though. Hell, I first discovered them in a sharethread back in like 2011. But for the most part nobody really cared about them too much, but they had a bit of a fanbase. I have no idea why it became a meme to constantly talk shit about them in the past few years considering they've been broken up since 2009.

Well, I genuinely enjoy the first two oasis albums. (I don't lobe them but they certainly aren't bad) The Masterplan and Don't Believe the Truth are alright too
