it's not terrible but it's pretty overrated
it's pretty solid but there's been many albums since that have done what it's going 4 better than it has

I've noticed this too. /mu/ likes to shit on mainstream rock, but DSOTM (and Queen's whole discog for that matter, but that's another argument entirely) gets it the worst.
But I dunno. DSOTM is one of the albums that really formed my music taste, so I guess I'm biased. But it's known as one of the GOAT for a reason.
