Damn, OP, you have the most unique taste of any poster I've ever seen on this board. I don't think I've ever even heard of half of those albums.
>>69612765
I listened to that 'BIG' album recently because someone rec'd it to me. It was good.
>>69612810
I've never heard of any of yours. Sorry
>>69612810
well aren't you special with your carefully organised collection of "obscure" foreign women
>>69612892
>has 4 Bowie albums
>none of them are good
holy shit
>>69612810
>look at how cultured and unique my taste is, ma! I'm a real patricianari now!
>>69612765
I have no words.
>>69612810
people like you should be put on a fucking train
>>69612810
meme
>>69612931
Only 5 albums on there are made by non-Western women, of which none are obscure.
>>69612941
A train to poundtown, since my taste makes ladies wet, amirite?
>>69612940
>>has 4 Bowie albums
Five.
Also: Bullshit. At the very least most Bowie fans love Heathen, Aladdin Sane, and Diamond Dogs.
>>69612963
And you stuck o'rourke in there, which seems odd. I'm not well-versed in that type of music, but I will do by best. I'm sure you've heard of/like Linda Perhacs.
Aine O'Dwyer maybe? Cotton Casino's solo stuff?
https://youtu.be/rVttYYXMK0M -This seems like something you'd like
>>69612765
Homeshake - In the Shower
Beach Fossils - Clash the Truth
>>69612892
Lord Finesse - The Awakening
>>69612810
haha holy shit what a load of fucking garbage
I only did five albums but whatever. These are my favs atm and are overall fairly representative of my taste as a whole.
>>69612765
You're taste is a little too pop for me but all of those are good albums
>>69612810
Definitely all thinking albums, good, but I personally prefer more of an emotional impact when I listen to music.
>>69612892
Unique mix of older shit and hip hop. Lots of great albums. Bowie is god.
>>69612940
Don't recognize a lot of that sorry
>>69613133
I really like your taste anon, I think we would get along
My top 50 of 2016 in order
>>69613208
>Unique mix of older shit and hip hop. Lots of great albums. Bowie is god.
Thanks man :)
>>69613232
I'm REALLY surprised TLOP is beating Blackstar. I mean it wasn't A BAD album per say but...I wouldn't put it above Blackstar.
>>69613232
I didn't realize Pitchforks top albums of the year leaked.
Just kidding, sort of. But what did you enjoy about TLOP so much that it's your AOTY? I found it really unorganized and had a lot of filler tracks. No More Parties in LA is SOTY though.
>>69613248
This is just based on my own personal enjoyment. I certainly don't think TLOP is objectively better than half the stuff on that chart.
Hi.
>>69613262
The fact that it's so unorganized is one of the reasons I like it so much. The album has a unique structure to it. Also I enjoyed the tracks alot of people think are filler, I guess i'm just a rabid ye stan.
>>69612765
are you a qt indie grill from in twin cities area by any chance?
>>69613305
Have you listened to Boards of Canada? It seems like you'd like them.
>>69613276
Fair enough. Not judging you or anything. If you loved the album that's great, it's just surprising to me.
>>69613346
Boards of Canada are way too weird for me.
>>69613317
maybe
>>69613387
If you're willing, check out The Campfire Headphase. Nothing really too weird about that album, and they use acoustic guitars and real drum kits. If you like Helios you'd probably like it.

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
>>69613133

Commenting is too easy with u .....but I gotta ask...*that's* your favorite Walkmen release?
>>69614022
Holy fuck so great to see Clap Your Hands on there. such an underappreciated album.
>>69614022

>>69614086
Amen, always surprises me how well it holds up. Wish I could say the same for their remaining discography.
>>69614184
Very fun :-)
I see us as justifiaby "basic." I listen to a ton, just don't connect with it enough to put up here.
>>69614184
One of my all-time faves.
Cheers~
>>69614710
>>69614022
Haha shucks, just realized I forgot to re-add "Moon & Antarctica." Should be somewhere in Second Tier. I guess there's enough MM.
>>69614625
Holy cow, French Exit in your Top 4??? And 'Who Really Cares' is nowhere to be found? Very interesting. Love the exposure, though :-)
Ummm check out the groups Soft Kill and Blackalicious. Don't gove recs often 'cause I am very 'me' centric.
>>69614856
Yeah I noticed you have BSS twice with the different covers. I assume it can sub in for one of those.
>>69614856
Thanks for the recs senpai. I think who really cares just hasn't grown on me yet, I think Ive only listened to it a few times. Also, are you implying that you are the TV girl with that exposure comment?
>>69615002
Let's stick in b/w Yankee and Strawberry, yep!
>>69615032
I guess I worded that oddly, huh? Nah I'm not, sadly.
It's still a respectable choice. I just got the vinyl bundle in the mail the other day, super happy!
Time spent with an album can definitely boost its appearance on the list. I hopped on the TV Girl train when 'Cares' was released, so that has served as my base-line and remains my favorite. The second half of it seals the deal for me.
>>69613305
cool taste, and ++++++for silver, holy shit, that's so cool that you're into it too. I'm sure you've listened to sotl, but if not get on that

>tfw my charts have about a 12hr relevancy lifespan
>tfw i always forget shit anyway
>>69616043
>i see you in every thread but fuck me our tastes are similar
I've been noticing you as well, but I can't complain since I love all the albums on your chart. I'll give you a couple recs, but there's no point since we're the same person.
