I will never understand why so many people have this predictable shit taste opinion. Find a better song with wood percussion, slide whistles and organ keys. It's brilliant. It's like people don't like it literally just because it uses unconventional instrumentation. The discordant vibe is kind of creepy and the arrangement interesting. Go fuck yourself.

One of my favorite albums but The Murder Mystery is borderline unlistenable. Which is real disappointing since I generally favor their experimental songs but this is a total dud.

Well let me respond more clearly and directly.
Your opinion on Logan Rock Witch depends on how you're judging the music.
If you solely judge music based on how well you think they executed their intention, then yeah he made a song that's discordant and kinda creepy with unconventional instrumentation exactly as intended. Logan Rock Witch is a masterpiece, props to him.
If you purely judge music on how enjoyable it is, then well that's entirely subjective and less arguable. I personally think it sounds like barf but others would disagree and that's that.
Usually people judge music based on a mixture of the two and the ratios are song-dependent.

The organ sounds like ass. It's not exactly something I can get over. Bach is rolling over in his grave. I willingly understand that "its what he intended" because he's aiming for a certain quality, but the enjoyment factor is very low. You might disagree because you find more value in the execution of ideas, and that's ok. I don't. And that's ok too.
