I agree. That and New Born. I feel they are two sides of the same coin - They both have the riff based chorus matched up with verses featuring prominent arpeggios. Both used dropped D tuning, although Hyper Music is in D and New Born in E. New Born is the 'nicer' side where Hyper Music is the crazier, more abrasive and dissonant brother (especially that Ddom7#9). The one thing for me that edges Hyper Music out as the better song is that it works so well in it's alternate slower arrangement, Hyper Chondriac Music.
