I would have to say that Dauği baldrs is his best album it's a masterpiece the fact that he recorded it in prison but not only that but the melody and the way the music flows on this album is possibly the best thing he's recorded

Quite good but very different, no use comparing. There are 4 distinct eras (early 90s Grieghallen, prison, late 00s/early 10s Greighallen, France computer music) of Burzum

That's retarded. The eras I mean. The only uniform periods we can point to are his 1992 recordings (Burzum, Aske, Det som & Hvis) and the three metal albums post-prison. Everything else is pretty much a standalone thing, even his two prison-era synth stuff.

I don't get why people hate on this and say Hliðskjálf is superior in every way. I always considered the two to have completely different styles and prefer Dauði Baldrs to it.
