So do any of you guys study transcriptions of jazz? I want to study some Bill Evans stuff, but most people just figure out the stuff by ear.

I feel like that would take a really long time and I would rather just see someone's transcription and study from there, so what so you think? Should I bother transcribing myself or just download a transcription?
