I played guitar for quite a few years. I could play most rock or metal songs pretty easily and was decent at pentatonic/blues style soloing. But I quit once I started taking piano seriously.

Those stuff are pretty easy. I don't know about you but I wouldn't go as far as dismissing thousands of guitarists because they don't play a specific genre or style, especially when they have more experience than me.
