Is classical music just for pseudo-intellectual poseur?

Yes.

that or total plebs

Just like there are obnoxious faggots who listen to rock or pop, there are ones who listen to classical as well.
I regularly enjoy classical. It's absolutely beautiful music.
I also listen to a lot of rock, pop, and some EDM as well though. Never will listen to rap. Don't care what anyone says, I simply don't understand what people can like about "muh sick beat" and "those rhymes tho mayne". Most of it is just black people spewing about how hard their upbringing was or how hard life is or some bullshit like that.

Have you tried Beastie Boys?

That's not horrible. Perhaps I was being a but shallow minded by saying that ALL rap was bad.

you're a fucking idiot
All work of art and everything's for everyone. So no, classical music isn't just exclusively for pseudo-intellectual poseurs.
But that pic triggers me, so..
>Hmmm, I don't ever remember listening to a piece of classical music that could vary its instrumental play in such a way as to obscure which instrument is actually being played
Bitch, that trick's been popular in classical for much longer than Loveless' baby tier "put static sounding noise on top of a guitar that has a couple effects".
>Or be as aggressive/loud as some of Swans material
Rhys Chatham, Glenn Branca
>so there's classical composers that created sounds/lyrics/music with variation
Stockhausen achieved total serliasm on Kontakt he reached a variety of sounds on one work very few in music can even attempt to come close to. As for lyrics, there's stuff like operas and adapted poems that far outdo the vast majority of popular music lyrics.
Not even saying classical is superior, but shit it's got a lot more going for it than people think. Admittedly though, a lot of that development that gives it the edge in versatility has come within the 20th century once the Common Practice Period ended, and most people's view of "classical" is just western canon of Common Practice Period stuff.

Listen to the last poets, you don't know what you are missing.

Not exactly but I suspect most people who listen to classical also play music, because it's after all music for musicians.
