From a guitarists' point of view, he's a young dude and not too different from the average guy his age, but his audience is like all moms so I bet he's hit quite a bit of mature ass.
Undoubtedly the biggest fag to ever grab a guitar
>>69551389
he's almost 40
>>69551406
you dont play guitar
>>69551421
Yeah I'm talking about when he was actually relevant so about 10 years ago
>>69551421
I do actually
He rocks Kapital and Visvim.
His songwriting is kind of boring but his technical ability at the guitar is undeniable. Like him or not, the dude can play, and he can play very well. When he wants to, at least.
he knows his improv, which makes his addition to Grateful Dead apt. Awful songwriter though, at least as far as his solo shit went

I don't know how it is now, but in the 90s everytime you stepped in a guitar store there was a different dude wailing away just as good as john mayer

John Myers is a really good singer and guitarist. He just makes incredibly simple music for normies
Simple? Yeah, but I like it. Or, at least, what was on Continuum and Battle Studies. Bigger Than My Body was really good too. He's a passionate and awesome guitar talent though, with a solid improv. Some of his solos in his songs are awesome jazz/blues riffs. His sound and style is pretty easy to replicate.
