fantastic and very accessible music
orange > nostalgia > blonde
all fantastic in their own right though
AOTY
great albums but I wish he'd release stuff more often
Extremely overrated artist
kinda drags on in certain bits. he gets lost in the constructed fictional narratives. going more personal on blonde was a good idea.
it gets boring in some parts, but it's actually a fairly decent album
not good at all
Honestly dont like it at all, maybe I need to revisit it because Blonde is probably AOTY for me

It's really good but after Blonde it just seems amateur
And I loved CO when it came out, Nostalgia, Ultra too

I pretty much feel the same way he just improved so much from channel orange to blonde I find it a bit dull, still a great album though

Even one of the best songs of this decade (Thinkin Bout You) suffers from kind of boring/uninspired production.
Like, it's "spacey", "glitchy", "sparse".
But even soundcloud producers have been doing that since the start of the decade, and in a much more interesting fashion.
But vocally, melodically, and in terms of overall songwriting, Frank is pretty fucking great. I just wish the production just went for it a bit more, you know?
Obviously he accomplished that on Endless and Blonde, but man can you imagine that song with the kind of production of his newer stuff?
Also how good was that visual album he released? I never actually checked it out and I dont see any discussion about it.

defintely worth checking out if you like Frank, I know a few people who liked it more than Blonde
Im pretty sure there's a standalone version that has the m4a audio split into tracks floating around
