Remain In Light is composed of various performances, jam sessions, and conventional studio recording but of each instrument/part individually done by Talking Heads which are put together through sampling and looping by Brian Eno.
Eno for this album was essentially the modern day equivalent of what an electronic music guy today often tends to be, except he didn't have the tech to make his own patches back in the day because it didn't exist yet, so he would have to tell real musicians to play some shit then he would record that and then put it together.
