The person that recorded that game's footstep noise should be shot multiple times
And I'm probably one of the only white dudes who listens to chink shit pic related, learned it from some Chinese bros I'm in uni with. Actually incredibly catchy... Search "An Ideal" by Li Ronghao and it should come up in YouTube cause it was released in Taiwan as well.
I'm probably not, but I'm hoping someone will respond saying they listen to it so we can talk about it because I'm mildly obsessed with it at the minute.

I remember seeing this being mentioned here a long time ago in a thread about plunderphonics and general weird stuff
Shit, that must have been 5 years ago why do I remember that
Anyway I never listened to it
Well, the only person on this board anyway.
/mu/ doesn't give a shit about UK hip hop
>>69527770
You should listen to it. It's hilarious. Like a more lo-fi version of Negativland.

Culturcide - Tacky Souvenirs of Pre-Revolutionary America
My own music.
Some of it's actually pretty good. Even very danceable.
(Not going to post it because it's only good for like 30-45 seconds and then falls apart or stops. Haven't been able to finish a good song yet.)
>>69527884
that's the spirit anon
>>69527378
I'm probably not the only person who listens to this, but I've never seen anyone mention it.

This is excellent. Thanks for sharing!
>>69528051
It's neither. Called a fucking joke. You don't need to lurk forever to figure that out, and it's actually incredible that you can't see that.
>>69527884
why not just string all the good 40 seconds of different songs together to make one frankenstein song?
>>69528151
Because they're different tempos and time signatures and rhythms so it would sound terrible.
>>69528323
Just call it Experimental, mate
that handsome devil
>>69528336
It already is experimental though. I can only get so experimental.
This is one of they most underrated albums in general, which makes me more confused that it's Bowie.
>>69528379
I've listened to this. This and Outside are very underrated and the best albums he did after the 80s with the exception of Blackstar (and maybe the Next Day). It's not even an actualy soundtrack, I don't think.
Powerbill by the Semantics
>>69528400
The album isn't a soundtrack, but he did make a soundtrack for the show "Buddha of Suburbia" with the same name that was never released.
I know other people enjoy Dark Ambient, but I've never seen anybody praise Horror Vacui, which I think is a pretty exceptional album.

I found an album I really liked on bandcamp but the guy took it down after a day
>>69527378
I'm probably the only one on this planet who listens to this
A 12" album of the Suffolk County Community College Jazz Ensemble, found at my grandparents' place. It was recorded sometime in the late 70s. I don't have a photo of it on hand, it doesn't have a Discogs page, or anything else online indicating that it exists.
>>69527378
i listen to this too
>>69527841
is this self explanatory
>>69527707
>"An Ideal" by Li Ronghao

>>69527378

>>69529989

I think what you're looking for is stuff influenced by the tropicalia movement
I recommend this album (which is not a compilation!) and then if you're interested look into the artists discographies
