I really liked his guitar solo at the end of the Cruising with Ruben and the Jets album, I forgot the name of the song but midway in the song Zappa starts playing. It's great.

I like some songs but can't listen for extended periods of time, got pic related in a free box of records and was not impressed considering how highly acclaimed he is.

I can't sympathize. Half of his music is making fun of 50 year old pop culture and the other half is jazz-rock wank. He's a talented player but that's not enough for me to care.

Willie the Pimp might be one of my favorite songs ever recorded.

Zappa was a genius but im not so sure about feeling ''living emotion''. He was like the musically gifted 1970s equivalent of Sam Hyde.
