It should. I don't think it was the best album of the year even though I do love Sturgill and have seen him live twice. I liked his first album more although I do love this experimental direction he's taking.

But it's far and away better than the turds shat out by Adele, Drake, Beyonce, and Bieber, his competition.

I pretty sure he was nominated just so their picks would look somewhat diverse. There's no way he's gonna win.
