What does /mu/ think of Goo Goo Dolls?
paved the way for every shitty momrock band that followed
They were a pretty decent Replacements ripoff band before they completely went pop.
I like the album in the OP and the song Here Is Gone. i think that's a sweet single
That album has to be the blandest, most generic radio rock I've ever heard. Nickelback were better than this even.
I really like their first radio hit that nobody remembers. A Boy Named Goo is also pretty good.

this is good replacements worship
Superstar Car Wash [Metal Blade, 1993] :(
A Boy Named Goo [Metal Blade, 1995] :(
Dizzy Up The Girl [Warner Bros., 1998] *bomb*
>Yeah, you bleed just to know you're alive
riveting stuff
If you had a 10 year old sister back then, you knew every last one of those wretched songs on DUTG like the back of your hand.

Yeah, they were pretty good at the whole Replacements worship thing.

How the fuck did this shitty album become the biggest thing on the planet and stay on the charts for almost 3 years?
i want them to goo goo away forever
Broadway was a decent song, the rest of DUTG can fuck off.

This supposed masterpiece I Took a Pill in Ibiza by Mike Posner sounds like a Goo Goo Dolls B Side, I mean lets get real here they were a good band, I guess that could just mean rock sucks now but.

I dont

>I mean lets get real here they were a good band
...up to ABNG.

Is that a rohypnol date-rape reference?
>>69505052
I love some of their singles but I've never listened to an album because I'm afraid to find out they suck

Like someone already said, their albums before OP pic are pretty good if you like Replacements worship.

Iris was a massive hit single
