according to google they are punk rock, it seems to look the part, doesn't really sound like it
i don't know anything about the band so maybe its a case like blondie or television where they don't realy fit in but are connected to the scene in a way?

I wouldn't call them punk. They had no real connection to the punk scene other than maybe a tertiary influence.
