Yeah it's a hobby that I've started taking a lot more seriously.

I just bought a pair of yamaha studio monitors HS7s for 800 bucks so its helping to make my mixes and masters cleaner.

Finally got to a point where I can chop and arrange in FL studio really fast.

Fuckin love making music, anyone else here find it relaxing? I can do it for hours no distractions.

No I've only ever done vocal shots on one of my songs, but I can sing and write good vocal melodies, just not confident enough to sing on my own track it feels weird.

you have good material to sample from but it's really far back in the mix.
mix is generally kind of quiet from weird/lack of compression.
drum programming is kind of wack.
your basslines/kicks are often out of key or dissonant in weird ways.
melodies sound weird and are not catchy or interesting.
you love that lopass filter.
