I would like to know people's thoughts too.

Every product i've ever owned of theirs has been great and reliable

Some people like to shit on them here sometimes but in my experience I've had no problems and I suspect they are just being contrarians.

I got an LP60 turntable cause I was on a budget. Would recommend to anyone in the same position.

LP-120 is a great entry level table, no complaints

they're a genuinely good company it's just that the ath-m50x headphones aren't as good as people say

Great phono carts. Probably the best entry level table you can buy. I don't use headphones, so I can't speak on that. But their other products are rock solid at their price points.

I've been satisfied with my ath-m50s, more so than with Sony's of comparable price.

I've never heard anyone say it's a "bad" brand, most of what they make is good value for the money

They're not bad, but my biggest problem with them is that they don't have the counter weight thing on them so they are more sensitive to picking up small imperfections in vinyl that you wouldn't hear on a turntable with a counter weight.

For headphones, beyerdynamic is better

for turntables, as long as you get one with a counterweight and anti-skating then they're good

Imo you shouldn't buy a turntable for less than $300 new, AT's barebones turntables are pretty bad
