Tim Buckley/Jeff Buckley comparisons are pathetically pleb considering they sound nothing alike. I think Tim is the better artist overall but that doesn't really diminish what Jeff achieved musically considering he wasn't trying to imitate his father.

There are many that do and fail miserably at it though. Also to answer your question his performances on this album are a lot more raw and intimate. It's just him and a guitar playing for a small crowd of people but I find that his versatility as a musician really shines in a live setting.

Absolutely. I'm not all that crazy about Jeff's original songs, they're good, not great. I'm more of a fan of him as a performer. I'll listen to him sing anything.

The song Grace is legitimately a great song that was an original from Jeff and Gary Lucas. But yeah, for the most part his strength was as an amazing live performer.
