Fabric is a Freemasonic business,

Which has recently scammed the general public out of £326,613 – However you are all too stupid and brainwashed by the Illuminati to realize this …

The Met Police aka Pedophile Protection squad, which failed to recognize Jimmy Saville’s blatant Pedophile ring involving the BBC to the Royal Family etc. Has obviously collaborated with the venue in order to steal your money and make a quick buck. All whilst gaining a great deal of free publicity.

This club, among many others, including the whole of Ibiza … Which even features it’s own Freemason lodge has clearly been infiltrated by the Illuminati.

It doesn’t take a genius to work this out. Especially when the likes of Pete Tong and Goldie have been awarded MBEs from The House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha AKA Windsor Nazis.

I’m afraid your precious electronic music industry has clearly been infiltrated by the illuminati. They want to distract you from real current affairs outside of the mainstream media companies, which they own, and how they have enslaved you all. Now get back to your drugs and continue you pay your taxes. All whilst we bomb the shit out of developing countries that are not part of our New World Order agenda or Illuminati network. Thank you.

OH and by the way. 9/11 was an inside job. Did you all forget this? Stupid Sheeple.

PETE TONG = FREEMASON ?

Since I like Techstep I quite like that cleaner sounding Jungle, the old heads hate it though.

There's been more remasters and re-releases in the last few years than I thought there was though.

>>
>>69423681
We'll be fine, trust me. The crowd who remembered GITS when it first came out aren't going to give a fuck about a live action version of it, and people have still not gotten bored of comic book movies despite the fact that there are shit loads and most of them are average or really bad. Also luckily for us, Hollywood/mainstream western media producers still view anime as the over the top violent hyper sexual stuff due to the OVAs and movies that made it over in the late 80s/early 90s, so it's still a 'risk' for them, and they won't take that risk again that frequently or that soon because it's failed a few times in the past already. Not to mention the pseudo-nerd crowd only watch the most mainstream anime around so if that ends up getting adapted, no one is going to care.

So far the only good director of live action manga adaptations is Takeshi Miike (and I still think his JJBA movie is going to be shit).

Essentially, but it took a bit longer for the actual D&B sound to develop. You were still getting stuff like this in 95/tail end of 96, and maybe a little longer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RjXaFA7Z6A
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEG2wVwpLqw

I still haven't quite figured out when the term Drum & Bass started being used properly. Most people say it was with Goldie - Timeless, some say the Suburban Base comps for US which were all called Drum & Bass selection was where it might have started, even in 92 the LP mix of Charly was called Charly (Trip Into Drum And Bass Version) so who the fuck knows.

That too, I mainly meant the ragga stuff with the amen rinsers and either an angry jamaican patois or a soulful diva - it all sounds very same to me
1st wave dnb suffers from too much intelligence, it's made more to obey musical theory than bang in a club. I always saw 'ardcore as a punk equivalent

I would call this dnb, but it' still foremost a dance music, you know

>>
>>69424109
Intelligent D&B was a terrible fad, good thing it didn't last long. After a little while, we did get some D&B that allowed producers to wank themselves off through showing off how good they were but still went off in (certain) clubs.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOBhSnP6uHw

I'm a huge fan of Ragga Jungle still, and amen rinser with an angry jamaican over it sounds ideal to me.

Hilariously it got morphed into Liquid Funk which is probably the 2nd most pleb D&B sub-genre ever.

fiddling underage girls rightly makes you a criminal, but not a paedo... there's a difference

>chin stroking self fellating "oh no I don't listen to Jungle, I listen to Intelligent Drum & Bass, Jungle is for the savages don't you know"
were those people even that rampant back then?

as far as I know those people listened mostly to drill and bass (aphex, u-ziq, squarepusher, the list goes on) and have survived to the 2000's through guys like vsnares and flashbulb and the rest of the wanky breakcore crew
>>
chip's feature on aj tracey's ep just confirms that chip is on another astral plane compared to these other mc's

no that's just his signature bar. just like skeppy used to say go on den go on den, and d double does the its mree mree

get chippy on some amazing production and he'll run the scene

stop looking at him different because he did the sensible thing and made pop music when grime was dead

>>
>>69424625
I thought the majority of people here are either underageb& or uni students.

>>69424677
This was a little after the time where Jungle had one or two mainstream hits and suddenly it stopped being the in thing to listen to. There was also that whole period of time where if anyone didn't make D&B in the style that the 'heads' of the scene liked then it wouldn't get played out, but that didn't last long.

intelligent jungle (read: 1st wave d&b) implies stuff like late 90's Good Looking - ""ambient"" jungle tracks with straight uncut amens and static pads; stuff you were more than likely to hear as background music in radio shows or nature documentaries in the late 90's and early 00s e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2qI_l_mkO8

actual ambient jungle has been around ever since darkcore and is quite possibly my favorite type of jungle/drum and bass music ever

Dance music of the 1990s largely rejected the simple, jovial, hedonistic approach to body movement that had ruled since James Brown invented funk music in the 1960s. Disco, techno and house had simply imported new technologies (both for rhythm and arrangements) into the paradigm of funk. The 1990s continued that process, one of the most important ideas to come out of Britain was jungle or drum & bass, a syncopated, polyrhythmic and frantic variant of house, a fusion of hip-hop and techno that relied on extremely fast drum-machines, epileptic breakbeats and huge bass lines.

Few genres of popular music underwent so many changes and reached such ambitious heights as jungle did. Within a few years, jungle musicians were already composing abstract and ambient pieces, integrating breakbeats with pop vocals, adopting jazz improvisation Thanks to ever more intricate beats and to free structures borrowed from jazz, jungle music rapidly became the foundation for a new kind of avantgarde music, pursued by the most austere of the genre's visionaries.

Well you went from "dark garage" to DMZ/tempa type stuff to brostep then you've got "post-dubstep", dungeon, dubby stuff, grimey stuff. You've had Britney Spears taking the sound and it becoming popular music in its own right, then obviously the Americanisation of it. Dubstep went from a few guys in Croydon to something that most people are aware of (even if they aren't aware of what dubstep itself actually is, only its bastard offspring). The genre's been everywhere in less than ten years.

The American stuff is just electro with a wobbly bassline, which they insist on referring to by the name of the completely different genre that popularized the wobbly bassline in modern dance music.

But somehow, they're incapable of coming up with a new name for their separate genre when they've come up with dozens of bullshit subgenres. Oh, there's a new tune out on Monstercat? Yeah, it's "complextro drumstep moombahcore". Fuck off.

How is that 'optimal'? The NHS and welfare system pretty much guarantees day to day survival, barring suicide. Very few people are content with merely existing, and why should they be? We're a highly social species by nature, no use in denying that aspect of our humanity.

To find another person with whom you could share your time, energy and resources (e.g. for intimacy, sex, companionship, children, support, conversation etc.)

The most romantic thing I have ever read is Fist of the North Star.

And you'd lose your life savings making that bet. The simple fact is that if I ever wanted to have one of these relationships, I would have just gone and got one, it's easy. But I've never seen the point of it and I still don't so why bother. And I'm all for doing pointless things, but not if I have to put any real effort into it.

Honestly, this amount of conversation is ideal for me, I don't desire anything more or deeper or face to face and I don't understand why anyone does. Human connection is massively overrated and responsible for more shit than it's worth, and when you can very comfortably live without it why would you put yourself through that.

>The simple fact is that if I ever wanted to have one of these relationships, I would have just gone and got one, it's easy.
Except it's not that simple: chances are I'm better at talking to girls and more (physically) attractive than you, and I can't just 'go and get one'. Many on /bleep/ can't, even though we want to and there's nothing inherently wrong with us. Finding partners is difficult work these days and requires a person to repeatedly expose themselves to the risk of lost time and painful rejection. I get that putting in all that effort is a big ask for someone who's clearly clever enough to breeze their way through life so far, but I don't for a second buy your claim that it's all pointless.

And you know I could actually have believed your asociality if you didn't feign ignorance of people's motivations for human connection — I don't think you're young, stupid, or autistic enough to completely fail to understand basic human behaviour outside of your self that way.

never been to a giegling night but ive seen a few of the giegling artists separately

kettenkarussell is nice warming-up music
vril has that techno sound of his own (which im still not completely sold on desu)
leafar legov is probably my fav that ive seen. really good deep sounds with a good pace
konstantin plays whatever he wants. literally ranges from very old techno to breaks and fucks up sometimes but thats alright because theres usually a good mood already set
i saw edward once as well but i was p fucked up that i dont remember his set

like, ive seen konstantin like 3 times and dont think ive ever heard a giegling tune once (unless it was unreleased)
