Looking for music which is chill/minimal yet intricate/not repetitive, like a couple on pic related.
Tracks 1, 5, and 9. They are all calm but have the saxophone and stuff which isn't repetitive and a little intricate
like, they've got lots of empty space
like, chill improvisation rather than hectic

This was made by having musicians improvise in the studio over months and then splicing the results together into a post-rock album. It's got the empty space and chill tone you're talking about. Spirit of Eden is also a good one to check out, though it gets more lively than this

I'm not really a 22, A Million fan and love Laughing Stock, but that doesn't mean I can't compare them or there aren't similarities. OP asked for "chill/minimal yet intricate/not repetitive" and I think that describes Laughing Stock pretty well
