why is that album so popular in the past couple months? anyways its one of my 4.5s.

It's probably just me talking about it because I found it recently and am rec'ing it to anyone who likes slowcore. It's just so perfect.

It was around 50 or so ratings whenever I first listened to it and it stayed around there until like september or so. so unless you have just rec'd it a shit ton or something...
Don't use RYM, or really like to give ratings so I'll just mention what I really like from each of you guys' favorites and post my current top 10 all time.
The Pop Group and Tortoise are new entries (in terms of albums I have only really been in love with for a few months as opposed to at least a year for the rest.)

Not that britpop meme, cool. FFV is what used to be in my top 10 spots where Tortoise and The Pop Group are, Ravedeath's definitely among my favorites in electronic music this decade, and I can never get tired of a full listen through F#A#.

All 70s all prog, but there's quality there. Close To The Edge is also probably still within top 20 for me. Though I am not gonna lie I haven't listened to Udu Wudu by Magma since I went till 1975 for them with their releases, then skipped straight to their post-2000s stuff.

Don't know Mitski from this but the other three are pretty decent musicians. I do think Bitte Orca will one day get a fuck ton of love the way the first two Olivia Tremor Control albums suddenly started getting a lot of love. Donuts I always felt works better as a full album rather than individual tracks considering how little Dilla manipulated some of the samples.

I do like how all the electronic stuff here is consistent in its "going for a lot of smaller sounds rather than less sounds but bigger ones" thing. Kinda consistent that way with the classical you got on here, too. Since you five'd the Spector, do you like EVERY track on that compilation? Curious.

FD is indeed best Can. SOE is indeed best Talk Talk. You know. Lmao they are actually called Unknown Artist though.
