Are there any bands similar to these guys that can compete in sheer talent?

What's the best song in the album and why is it Houses in Motion?

Mastodon. :^)
Seen and Not Seen is probably one of the most significant songs in my life.
It's like it was a warning specifically written for me.
Does anyone else feel this way?

It depends what you like about them. I can't think of anything exactly the same in terms of influences, but Television maybe. Richard Hell and Voidoids, Modern Lovers, etc are all great bands of the same genre but I can't think of any band that blends genres so well.

People who don't think Once in a Lifetime is the best song are just trying to be contrary.

It's the calculated anxiety and weirdness about them that I love so much. I like Television too but I was wondering if there's more like them, new wave/post-punk or not.
