god why was the second half of that such a disappointment
anyway just listen to like abominable iron sloth and pg 99 and go from there
>>69386323
and by second half of that I mean the second half of decompositions
vol 1 of decomp was tight
and as the roots undo was obvs tight
I gotta be honest abominable iron sloth is not the best rec I could've made
difficult to find other pretentious, BA in lit level lyrics, emo albums like that one OP

I mean that qualifies them to be better lyricists than basically every other lyricist
maybe try the fall of troy
Some of Alesana's stuff is like an even faggier CTTS.

if you're going to recommend alesana then I guess saosin gets mention too
oh OP you could try Maths Ascent
Old #12 has the progskramz vibes too, although they're never all gothic and dark about it.

Rolo Tomassi too. Not as emo, but has the alternating female/male vocals and some post rock/soft parts like ctts.

You might like Hours by Beau Navire or Things Are Getting Better But I am Still Dead Inside by I Don't Want to Know Why The Caged Bird Sings. Both are more screamo than anything and sound less evil, but both are great regardless.

oh shit I can't believe I didn't think about the first TNTLLY album
they used to be my favourite band
>>69386829
I considered the vocalists to be my favorites but I never remembered their names. I still can never decide if Mongrel or Nuclear.Sad.Nuclear is their best album.
a MURRRMUR
echoes softlyfromtheruins as the rooots undo
this band is so gay
