I use to think it was thr strangest thing to me as a kid now I kind of learned to like it I dunno why I didnt before cus I was very edgy then and the edginess is what made it cool to me. If you go through the tag in lastfm for that genre you can find a lot of good bands.

It blew my mind that people listened to it when I first discovered it, and the total awe drew me to it. It was pretty edgy though. But I still firmly believe that it captures the energy and emotion of total aggression better than any other genre.

Hard to listen to is the point, when I first got into whitehouse it was a nauseating experience, as I progressed into more of their music and other pe acts nothing ever came as close as early whitehouse when it was just Bennett on his own. Acts like club moral would pummel you during a live set, make you leave the room because you're sick to your stomach. This is what pe is mainly about. And pe on mu is just a bunch of shitty mainstream crap nobody ever posts local bands you're all just a bunch of faggot basement dwellers really

My mind is in a completely altered state when i'm feeling high or a bit loopy. And I like the constant sound to block out hallucinations/intrusive thoughts.
When I'm medicated my brain works a lot better and more rationally.
