Taylor Swift makes irredeemable garbage so even though I haven't listened to King Crimson I will absolutely say they did it better

This. I haven't heard a single King Crimson song outside of ITCOTCK, but I can guarantee you that their album is better than Taylor's
Red, probably. It's certainly the best thing she's ever done. 1989 wasn't good, honestly. The singles were much better and bigger as we all know, but as an album... Meh.
Stop liking things I don't like.

I personally like "Thank Your Luck Stars" a bit more, but that's just me. What about yourself?

Wildest Dreams and 22 are actually terrible. They grate on me to no end. They just do not sound good. The melodies are not good, her voice sounds disjointed with the songs. The lyrics are bad, in 22, she tried and failed to bring her old "country" influence into the song and wrote verses that didn't actually develop a story, rather restated the same situation without advancing, the followed those two verses with a bad bridge and chorus. Wildest Dreams is the same thing she always sings about, falling and love and a tragic split, which, can't even manage to do in an innovative manner. Taylor Swift has a good voice and she could be a good artist but, for the love of God, she has got to start writing better lyrics and use some kind of different instrumentation or structure to all of the other pop songs being made to advance.
