So what's your underrated/"underground" album of the year so far?

Hanba s/t
Little Kid - Flowers

>>69364653
I almost forgot about that one
>>69364254

it's fucking great
>>69364875
there's some actually great stuff in there, thanks man
>>69364875
Yo lost salt blood purges is sweet. Not what I was expecting from titles and artwork but it's really unique
>>69365148
No problem my dude.
>>69365243
Ha that was my reaction when listening to it. I was excepting some great underground experimental bm or something, but it's actually like straight up tribal ambient, post rock and neofolk.
Botany - Deepak Verbera
>>69365278
Yeah the use of field recordings was good and it's nice how they/him/her didn't go full in on the noise too cuz the ambient parts are good as well. Nice spacing from a small artist. What do you know about daydream society? This seems cool
Definitely this
>>69365281
This is good what else have you liked from this year?
>>69365387
Agreed the use of tape noise and acoustic instruments is just flawless imo.
As for Daydream he's actually sort of a friend of mine online on another forum. He posted this album in a thread where we all sort of spam our own music and give eachother opinions on it and such. Anyways, I listened to this one and I was just blown away and got it on RYM right away so I could add it to my best of the year list and shit. It's just everything I want out of ambient music.
>>69365594
Did you find lost salt blood purged there too?
>>69365635
No, that was actually just me searching for music on Bandcamp. He seems to have a small following since it came out which is nice to see.
>>69365616
Yeah this is album is heavy as fuck. Have you listened to sex prisoner- tannhauser gate?
>>69364883
indeed, my dude

There's a lot to list, lots of the stuff other people are liking but there's this album Dreamboat - Dreamboat that I don't see get talked about, I've really enjoyed that one. It may seem difficult to google but just do dreamboat 2016 and the relevant results will be up there.
