I figured out a few months ago I like it, especially on rainy days, like tonight. My favorite (from my fairly short searching) is Houston Person.

i play drums for various blues bands. it's okay i guess.

I really like blues from snippets i've heard but i don't know what's good and what to listen to. I prefer electric blues, can anyone give me some pointers?

I'm into some blues but a lot of it is fucking garbage (like the electric blues stuff can be very hit or miss) but I love a lot of the classics like Charley Patton, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Captain Beefheart, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Cuby + Blizzards, etc.

Blues Rock is very hit or miss, too much wankery and all sounds the same. But there some really great musicians.

Blues and Blues Rock are both great.
