I guess, most people say it works, then again, most people don't exactly go on to write anything good with their newly developed talent.

Well, then?

Well, then, /mu/ is not a hivemind. Although it may sometimes appear to have opinions, in reality it is constructed of multiple people, and as such, won't always agree on something.
But anyway, I've enjoyed it. I dunno if it's improved my playing at all but it's certainly helpful in learning specific songs.

I was expecting someone to reply "yes" so there'd be all three is all.

If you want to learn some songs on guitar it's okay, if you want to actually learn guitar it's shit

Gotcha. I want to learn bass but figured no harm in learning both.
Pretty good learning tool, very helpful for those too lazy to practice. But you'll have to practice what you learned elsewhere because it doesn't exactly punish you for sloppiness.
It's pretty anal about string bends during the harder wankery (or just fucking rock-and-roll solos in general) songs but that could just be an excuse of not gitting gud but I may have worn down a fret (to the point that the game would consider a miss on that fret) for probably trying too hard.

Gotcha.

Yes. It makes learning motivating and fun and you will learn how to play a full song very fast if you play a couple hours a day.
Speaking from experience.
Good if you already know how to play, sure. It'll teach you songs, but you gotta be careful because it can teach you some bad habits.
If you want to learn, either get a tutor or lock yourself in a room with Justin Guitar for a few weeks.
