His music is too "dude psychedelics lmao" for me, dunno what specifically makes me think that. I like Tipper wayyyy more though they're not necessarily similar

I mean yeah they're pretty overt about it but I think the music itself is so good that it doesn't matter. I think not shying away from it is admirable in its own way, and I definitely oppose writing them off for that one reason.

I wonder if they're going to continue down the path that Museum set with its darker, more trancey atmosphere, or if it'll reintegrate the more whimsical Spanish flair that their previous few albums had, or if it'll go down a new path.

Its placement is less about quality and more about style preference. I like it, just not as much as the others overall. For me, their sound got really refined starting with the second album.
