What are your thoughts on this album? Some seem to like it, but most seems to totally bash it as shit. Wondering if I should give it a skip....
Unless you're an edgy high schooler there is no reason to ever listen to this album
There's a whopping 2 good songs on here.
Everything else has shit-tier beats.
Wolf and Cherry Bomb are major improvements production-wise.
We need a Jazz album from Tyler.

So the consensus is Bastard, Wolf, and maybe Cherry Bomb are his 'worth a listen to's'?

Or, I could check out an artists good albums while preserving my time by skipping the albums people consider to be the 'holy shit it's his worst album by far' ones.
I just wonder because people hate on it, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goblin_(album)#Critical_reception seems pretty good. /shrug, who knows.
Goblin feels empty and disingenuous compared to Bastard and it's very noticeable.
He made Bastard when he was an angsty depressed teenager. After hitting it big with Bastard and getting money and recognition he didn't feel that anymore and basically had to fake it for the album.
Even Tyler admits he doesn't really like Goblin all that much.

Yes, those are the good ones.
Though Cherry Bomb is more of a mixed bag than a 'good album' per say.
