>90% of the album is filler tracks
Why do normies circlejerk this album so much?
It's a "classic", and most normos have only heard the singles from it
>>69309104
>90% of the album is filler tracks
but that isn't true tho
>>69309104
same reason the third reich came about
literally just because no one thought about it or objected
>>69309183
You're right. It's 95% filler
It was a cultural phenomenon and has been designated classic status. My parents barely care about music but they definitely know the chorus to 'Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2.'
>>69309104
Oh, anon. What I would give to put your throbbing penis in my mouth!
>Goodbye Blue Sky
>The Thin Ice
>Vera
>Hey You
>The Empty Spaces
Filler
I'm a big Pink Floyd fan, and yeah the Wall is a bit overrated but I think it's the best showcase of David Gilmour's guitar playing and that's what lots of Pink Floyd fans really like
I do enjoy Roger Waters singing lots of leads on The Wall. I always liked his parts on Animals better than Gilmour's because his biting, acidic delivery
To me
1. DSoTM (call me a normie if u want this is obv their best album)
2. WYWH
3. Animals
4. Meddle
5. The Wall
alot of the reason the wall is so popular has to do with the kickass cartoons in the movie. People forget that most of the movie is bullshit live action but those cartoons are awesome
>>69309104
Your opinion fills me with the urge to defecate
>posts thread about album they don't like and claims said album is circle jerked.
If you think it's overrated, why post a thread about it?
>>69309292
none of those are filler at all.
>>69309436
That was kinda' my point. Maybe I should have clarified better.
I have no fucking idea, OP
I think you have to get into Pink Floyd before you discover how good prog can actually be
Because of Comfortably Numb, which is the only worthwhile track in the entire album.
Since most normies only heard that song, they only assume the rest of the album is just as good.
>>69309496
this is objectively false
>>69309292
Vera and Waiting for the Worms are the best on the album
Babby's first "prog" album.
>>69309292
Is Don't Leave me Now filler?
dude, so like, there's this wall, right? but it's not *literally* a wall though, like, it's in his MIND. and every little messed up thing that happens is like a brick, which builds THE WALL, and it like, isolates him from everyone, like a PHYSICAL wall, but it's not, you know?
>>69309678
omg so much this anon, i thought i was the only one who got it XD
>>69309678
damn...
>>69309678
Oh fucxxs
*mind BLOWN*
>It's an anon doesn't understand a concept album episode
>>69309862
>he thinks The Wall is hard to understand
>>69310017
>he thinks
Pink Floyd is symbolism and metaphor for normies who toked for an hour in their cousin's basement and think that they're deep.
>>69309678
Lmao reminded me of this at 1:38 http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/118226/the-state-party-at-chips.jhtml
I genuinely enjoy every track on this album and it's one of my all time favorites.
I will listen to it all the way through several times a year and have since I was about 12.
24 now.
fuck you /mu/ you can't talk me out of loving this album.
>>69309309
listen to early pink floyd you normie rym-faggot
you literally cant be a more of a basic bitch than you
There's literally not a single filler track on the entire album pleb.
>>69309104
because movie
Don't you mean 100% of this album is filler OP?
The album is great and deserves all its popularity. You're all just being a bunch of hipsters who are triggered because normies like it.
>VERA
>VERA
>WHAT HAS BECOME OF YOU
>>69311768
i have every pink floyd album and have listened to them all extensively. Don't pretend that Saucerful of Secrets or Ummagumma are better than any album in my top 5.
Not considering Piper because different band
>>69313857
saucerful is indeed better than animals, the wall and meddle.
>>69309678
whoa...
>>69310948
This
>>69309104
>100% of the album is shit
ftfy, listen to Eloy, faget
>>69309104
>filler
>aka tracks you don't like
Every single track is great an necessary. 10/10
>>69310191
But you're really deep though right
thats cool do you wanna hang out
>>69309309
Meh.
1. Saucerful of Secrets
2. WYWH
3. Piper
4. DSoTM
5. Atom Heart Mother
not defending the wall but you guys do realize normos never actually listen to albums right?
like whenever you say normies like a band, all you're saying is that normies like the singles or whatever. i don't know a single normo that sits down and listens to a fucking album.
